Shaidri Alrich was born in Austin, Texas and grew up in Greenville, California. She has always been a free spirit who loves traveling the world. In fact, Shaidri has lived in a wide variety of places, including California, Alaska, Kentucky, Colorado, Alaska, and Hawaii. As much as she enjoys traveling, Shaidri decided to settle in Austin to join her sister who is also Go Dance owner, Mylie Arnold. Shaidri is part of an artistic family and was always surrounded by music. Although music is Shaidri's number one passion, seeing Mylie's dance competitions always intrigued her. For Shaidri, dancing is a natural extension of her lifelong love of music, so she was smitten with dancing as soon as she joined Go Dance in 2008.

Although Shaidri had some previous experience belly dancing, she was completely new to partner dancing when she joined Go Dance! Right away, she jumped into classes, learning as many dances as she could. Shaidri is the head manager of the Administrative staff at Go Dance. We consider her our customer service queen, literally! If you need anything while you're here, never hesitate to ask Shaidri because she is always more than happy to help! When not interacting with students, she keeps things running smoothly in the "back of the house." Shaidri enjoys all dance styles and loves dancing for fun. When Shaidri isn't singing, performing her music, working, or dancing, she enjoys spending time with her family (especially with her cute nephew, Daxton)!

I love the social aspect of dancing, and seeing the many different ways and the different places that people dance!

Shaidri truly enjoys dance and people. She loves her job, because there's never a dull moment! She appreciates her wonderful co-workers and likes seeing so many happy people walk through Go Dance's doors. Getting to watch professional dancers practice is definitely a plus too! If you should ever have a question, Shaidri is always happy and willing to help!
