PERFORM IN WINTER SHOWCASE 2009!
If you’ve seen “Dancing with the Stars” on TV, then you know anyone can learn to dance. Even the stars in your favorite dance movies like Dirty Dancing, True Lies, Saturday Night Fever, and Footloose started from scratch on a dance floor just like ours. This winter, we are hosting our 22nd semi-annual Showcase performance. Exact date TBD. This is your chance to be in the show and make your dance dreams come true... whether you’re a beginning, intermediate, or advanced dancer.
There are several performance opportunities.
SPOTLIGHT ROUTINES
Dance with your instructor or another student in a solo routine choreographed just for you.
FREESTYLE ROUTINES
Demonstrate a dance style with your instructor or another student with other couples on the floor.
TEAM ROUTINES
Join a group of fellow students to dance a specially choreographed routine as a team. Summertime is made for traveling—spend the evening with us on June 7th and see the whole world in one night!
Just as a film takes time and a production crew to produce a fabulous movie, a showcase routine takes 2-6 months and a similar set of resources.
